Take up of IT outsourcing increasing.
Computer Weekly magazine this week reported that take up of IT outsourcing is increasing by 5.9% a year, and predicted that outsourcing contracts in Western Europe will be worth £180bn by the end of 2011.
Karl Flinders writes “[o]utsourcing suppliers have demonstrated they can adapt their offerings to appeal to business decision makers” adding that outsourcing IT support and maintenance enables a business to “focus on what the IT users and business really need”.
